Boeing Watch is an independent accountability dashboard for The Boeing Company. It is operated by one person, in public, under their own name, against a documented methodology, with a standing corrections policy. It carries no advertising, no analytics tracking, no sponsorships, and no financial relationship of any kind with Boeing, its suppliers, the Federal Aviation Administration, or any party regulated by the FAA.
The Boeing Company manufactures aircraft that carry more than two and a half million people per day. Its conduct is a matter of public concern. Its safety record is a matter of public record. Its regulators are a matter of public record. The financial press tracks its stock; the trade press tracks its production figures; the wire services track its press releases. Until now, no single English-language site has tracked the in-service difficulties of its airframes against a fixed methodology and a fixed corrections policy.
Boeing Watch exists to do exactly that. The mission is narrow and stated three ways so that it cannot be quietly broadened:
Boeing Watch does not seek to bring Boeing down, to lobby for any particular regulatory outcome, to short its stock, or to recruit a constituency against the company. It is not an advocacy organisation. It is an instrument of record.
The editor of Boeing Watch is Donald, who operates the site under the imprint Harrow Lab. Donald is the named, accountable author of every line of editorial copy on this site that is not the product of one of the listed automated agents, and the named, accountable operator of every agent.
Donald is not a current or former Boeing employee. Donald is not a current or former employee of Spirit AeroSystems, of any Boeing first-tier supplier, of any U.S. or foreign civil aviation authority, of the U.S. Department of Transportation, or of any law firm currently retained by parties to Boeing-related litigation. Donald is not licensed in any jurisdiction as an aviation engineer, an A&P mechanic, an air traffic controller, or a commercial pilot. Donald reads the public record carefully and publishes what is in it.
Donald may be reached at corrections@boeingwatch.org for matters of correction, at the same address for press inquiries, and at the same address for legal correspondence. There is no other contact channel. There is no telephone number. There is no street address published for the site; Boeing Watch is not a place, it is a record.
Honest accounts of conflict are short. Here is the honest one.
The front page is a static HTML document served from Cloudflare's global edge. It carries no third-party tracking, no advertising network, no analytics SDK, and no social-platform pixels. Aggregate, privacy-preserving traffic statistics are collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
Live data — the count of 737 MAX aircraft in the sky, the current BA share price, the latest Service Difficulty Reports — is pulled from named upstream sources at the cadences described in Methodology. When an upstream source is unreachable, the front page falls back to the most recent snapshot embedded in the page and switches the topbar indicator from LIVE to SNAPSHOT. No live counter on this site ever invents a value.
Routine writing is performed by a small set of named automated agents, each with a published prompt, a documented schedule, and a single narrowly-defined job. The prompts are stored in /agent-prompts in the source repository and are versioned alongside the methodology. The agents are:
Editorial responsibility for every line published on this site, automated or not, rests with the named editor. The agents are tools. They are not authors.
This site is built around four practices that, in the editor's reading, distinguish work that survives legal pressure from work that does not. They are stated here as a public commitment.
If any of these four conditions ceases to hold, the affected pages will be unpublished until the condition is restored. The four are not aspirational. They are operating preconditions.
